Our Program
Designed for middle and high school students and young adults, each session of the NIPF Youth Violence Prevention Program:

Deepens understanding of the causes and consequences of violence and effective violence prevention strategies.

Develop participants' conflict resolution and emotional management skills.

Empower participants to become advocates for non-violence in their communities.
Participants are encouraged to share their perspectives, give voice to their concerns and experiences, ask questions, and discuss common issues and solutions related to youth violence in their communities. Other program components include:

The program creates opportunities for youth to explore emotional healing and resilience, understand fear and anger, and evaluate personal growth and lessons learned.
